Wow we are into 2008 and now I haven't seen most of you since last year!!! Over here the winter has well and truly set in. Over the past 4 days up the Mt we have had over 1 metre of snow and even more to come over the weekend and into early next week! we have now got a base of 340cm!! The past 2 times I have worked we have sat around the lift entertaining ourselves and moving plenty of fresh snow because it has been really windy and blizzards galore!! So all in all the powder is everywhere!!
Brenna and I had a fun time on NYE as we chose to stay up the Mt. We ended up walking around the Alpine village in bloody windy conditions going from 1 party to another!! All in all it was a good night even if It was a little chilly but a little alcohol keeps you nice and warm inside.
..Hey there all!! It's Brenna:) Just thought I would give you a quick update on me. Mind you Dan seems to keep you all up to date on most everything anyway. Well work for me is good. Days like today (blizzard and miserable) make me very glad that I have an inside job. Although it would be fun goofing off out there. Seems like Dan is definately in his element and thoroughly enjoying himself. Working in the restaraunt has been great as well! Get to stay dry and warm, but also still get to enjoy the beauties and bonuses of the mountain. Although I haven't been out enjoying the slopes as much as Dan still enjoying the environment and all the people.
Other than working we have have mostly been practicing at our socializing. We seem to be becoming very good at it:) Eating, sleeping...the usual. Still haven't seen some of my family since I've been home, but hopefully in the spring time we will make a little road trip and see a few more people.
