Yesterday it snow the entire day as we were watching it from the training room! About 25cm in total!! In the training there is about 45 new staff ranging from age 19 to me at 29!! Should be heaps of fun to be had with them all that's for sure. I'm one of the oldest one but as you know I definitely don't act my age! There are only 2 of us Ozzies (thats a good thing because that one reason I chose this mountain) in the lifty position but there as people from Germany, Sweden, England but most are locals and some from all over Canada.
When we 1st started we were greeted with a 75 page training booklet, thats how much we have to know and there is a mini test at the end of each chapter with a final exam at the end of Thursday! I haven't done this much learning in a long time but all in the fun of it! Our moto is Work hard, Play harder!!! I don't mind doing that! Im really looking forward to having heaps of fun and PLENTY and PLENTY of snowboarding in between, and we get paid to snowboard between rotations from top to bottom!!

After the day of snow I had to drive home, It actually snowed in Courtenay and Comox which hasn't happened this early for a long time!! Let me say I was an experience, with very very very limited experience driving in the snow it was a challenge, It was very slippery and dicey, Most people were driving very slow to suit the conditions I did the same! But I did get home safely.. Tonight it getting colder again down to -5 with more snow on the mountain predicted again! Bring it on!!
