The mountain is fully operation for the summer with opening day for the bike park being saturday the 27th. The opening day was a wet one which put a dampener on things it also made our fantastic trails turn to mud but that is the way things go! my 1st day on a down hill bike was so much fun the guys I rode with we surprised I was that close to them, put I wasn't getting too much air of the jumps it will take a few days to get comfortable with that. The even took me on some of the hardest runs on the hill, that went well but I did go over the bars a few times though!
Today was a day off and it was canada day!! and we went up the mountain with the in laws It was a good time but they went of a walk and I squeezed in a few runs, lucky me. Im getting comfortable on the bike now even only if I have had a few days out there, Im even getting air of the jumps.
Before I went for a ride we went up to the summit and admired the view from 1 mile up! You can see a long way thats for sure.
