Im still Alive 2!!

Hey there everyone the month of July has just flown by!! and I cant believe its nearly over! Its been a busy one at that, in between the good times at work on my days off Brenna and I have been always doing something!! either shopping road trips, going across to the main land for a wedding reception (they got married in Jamaica) Kayaking, and generally enjoying the summer days! Currently we havent had any rain for 3 weeks or so and its been high 20's with the over night temps of high teens, all the canadians are complaining how hot it is, sure its warm but its not super hot in my view, just a walk in the park for us Aussies lol,

I ride to work every day but I havent tried riding up yet, Ill try when the temp is a little more friendly for climbing!! but I have gone done it, nearly every day after work, now thats fun, its 17ks but its not all down hill bout 10k is down with the max. gradient being 12%. When I hit that part Im flying at a lazy 89.5 klicks. Its a gr8 way to end the work day. You can see the max below!

In other news I have been offered a job on the Park Crew in winter, so I will learn how to make jumps rails in snow and also I will learn how to ride them too!! SO I have two winter options, a lead hand for lifts or Park Crew decisions decisions! but park crew is just in front!

Brenna and I have also booked a trip to mexico in November, that should be fun and exciting!!

I have also made a decision, but I will need my big bro Andy's help to make it come true! I want to follow Andy's lead and try my luck doing a solo mountain bike race, starting with a 6 hr race. Havent asked him yet but I will need some help training, and all that other stuff. Maybe I could give him a run for his money!
